1. Who We Are

ServerSpotter (serverspotter.com) is an independent comparison platform for server and hosting providers. We are based in the Netherlands. For privacy inquiries, contact us at privacy@spotter.network.

2. What Data We Collect

Account data: When you create an account, we store your email address and display name.

Usage data: We collect anonymized page views, search queries, and feature usage via Google Analytics (GA4). This data cannot identify you personally.

Newsletter: If you subscribe to our newsletter, we store your email address via Resend. You can unsubscribe at any time.

Cookies: We use essential cookies for authentication and optional analytics cookies (only with your consent).

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your data to:

  • Provide and maintain the ServerSpotter platform
  • Send newsletter emails (only if you subscribed)
  • Analyze anonymized usage to improve our content and tools
  • Prevent abuse and ensure platform security

We do NOT sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Legal Basis (GDPR/AVG)

We process data based on:

  • Consent: Analytics cookies and newsletter subscriptions
